Ingredients

Butter, softened
(two sticks)

Light Brown Sugar
(packed)

Flour
(can substitute almond flour for gf option)

Vanilla
1
Egg Yolk

Hershey's Chocolate Bar
(or more!)
Chopped Pecans or Walnuts
(optional)
Instructions
Pre-heat oven 350°F.
Soften butter (stick in microwave for 10-15 seconds).
Cream the butter, sugar, and egg yolk.
Add Flour and mix on low.
Add Vanilla and mix on low.
Line Baking Sheet with Parchment Paper.
Spread mix evenly on sheet.
Bake for 15mins.
While the dough is baking, chop the nuts and break apart Hershey's chocolate.
Take dough out and turn the oven off.
Place chocolate evenly throughout the cookie dough. Stick the pan back in the oven for 1 minute.
With a rubber scrapper, spread chocolate evenly across the top of the cookies.
Sprinkle chopped nuts on top of the chocolate (optional). Let cool.
Cut and Enjoy!
Notes
For the best tasting cookies, I highly recommend storing them in the refrigerator in a sealed tight container or ziplock baggie.
