Oreo Truffles

Who doesn’t love an easy and yummy treat that you can whip up in minutes?! My kiddos were in the mood for some oreos and it instantly gave me the idea to make some Oreo truffles, one of our family favorites! It’s so easy to make and they make for a quick treat to bring to any gathering! So I am going to share how to whip these babies up in no time.

First you’ll need some Oreos, Cream Cheese, and some Vanilla Chocolate Melting Wafers
Place Oreos in a food processor
Blend until crumbled
Add cream cheese. Our family has dairy sensativities so I used a dairy-free option.
Blend it up so that the crumbly texture is a dough like consistency
Place parchment or wax paper on a cookie sheet. You can use your hands to make the mixture into balls but I prefer to use a cookie dropper. It’s way less messy and easier to form the truffles into balls. Place full cookie sheet in fridge for about 5-10mins to set.
While truffles are setting in the fridge, melt the wafers in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second increments, mixing every time to get a creamy consistency. Be careful not to overheat as this will cause the chocolate to become too hard. We love ghirardelli anything so using their melting wafers was a no brainer for me!
Your chocolate should look like this.
Dip each truffle in the chocolate one by one. Be sure to cover every inch of those delish babies!
Once each truffle is dipped, allow chocolate to set for a couple minutes.
You can either eat them right away or I love to put them back in the fridge for about 20 minutes. I personally think they taste so much better cold! Store in an air tight container in the fridge. Enjoy!!
