Why I started a Lifestyle Blog

Hi friend!! My name is Leti and I can’t express how happy I am that you’re taking time out of your day to get to know me! I have gone back and forth about whether to do this or not, but that small whispering voice inside my head began to get louder and louder. So here I am.

My husband of 6 years has been telling me of this vision and dream that he’s had for me since he heard my story. The past 2 years he has been bringing it up more and more, especially as I work through the first 19 years of my life. He told me, “Leti, I see you writing a book and speaking at conferences one day. Your story is going to change and help so many lives!” Now for someone who has an extreme fear of public speaking, his enthusiasm about this dream gives me ALL the anxiety!

Sooo… THIS is my “book” and THIS is my “conference”.

I decided to start a blog as a creative outlet for myself, a space where I have the freedom to write about all the things I love and am passionate about. Somewhere that I can come to and lay it all out there! The good, the bad, the fun! All of it.

Although I would love for this blog to be purely lighthearted, I feel it’s important to be completely real. I have had this burning desire to share my story. It’s been a long road to get to where I am now. My heart desires for healing and understanding. I am in no way wanting this to be a form of shaming or finger pointing . I purely want to be open, shed light, bring about healing, and find closure as I navigate this beautiful life I have been so graciously given.

I am a Disciple of Jesus, a wife, and a Mama to two incredible miracle babies. As I expose the deepest parts of my heart, I can only ask for grace. I am by no means perfect and will never claim to be! I am as imperfect as they come, but in that, I can only dream to bring hope, encouragement, and reassurance. So with that said, to the one who is not ready to share your story, this one’s for you!
